Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "user") and Veludio ("we", "us", or "our") governing your access to and use of the Veludio platform, including all features, functionality, and content made available at veludio.com.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Veludio after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We will update the effective date at the top of this page when changes are made.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Veludio. By using Veludio you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are using Veludio on behalf of an organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms.
By connecting a Google account you also agree to Google's Terms of Service. Use of Google Calendar features is subject to Google's policies in addition to these Terms.
The Service
Veludio is a smart display and digital display platform that allows users to display calendar events, weather, photos, and other content on dedicated screens. We provide the software and hosting infrastructure; you provide the content and display devices.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@veludio.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
You may not share your account with others, create accounts by automated means, or create accounts for the purpose of violating these Terms.
Display device tokens — Your display pairing URL contains a device token that grants access to your display configuration. Treat this as a password. Do not share it publicly. You can invalidate a token at any time by unpairing and re-pairing the device from your dashboard.
Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Veludio to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Display, transmit, or store protected health information (PHI) or any data subject to HIPAA, HITECH, or similar healthcare data regulations — Veludio is not designed or certified for such use
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Transmit harmful, abusive, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable content
- Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the service or its infrastructure
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers connected to it
- Use the service for any commercial purpose beyond your own internal business use without our prior written consent
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.
Subscription Plans and Billing
Veludio offers a permanent free tier and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed on a recurring basis through Stripe. By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Cancellation — You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to your paid plan features until that date.
Refunds — We do not offer refunds for the current billing period. There are no partial refunds for unused time.
Plan expiry — When a paid subscription expires or is cancelled, your account automatically reverts to the free tier. Your data is not deleted. Features, display slots, and calendar limits will be reduced to free tier allowances at that time.
Price changes — We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days notice of any price increase to active subscribers before the change takes effect.
Intellectual Property
Veludio and all associated software, design, trademarks, and content are the exclusive intellectual property of Veludio and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law. All rights are reserved.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the service for its intended purpose during the term of your account. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse engineer, or create derivative works from any part of the service.
You retain ownership of any content you provide — calendar data, display configuration, custom CSS, and similar user-generated content. You grant us a limited licence to store and process that content solely to provide the service to you.
Privacy
Your use of Veludio is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using Veludio you agree to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Veludio is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that any particular feature will remain available.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Veludio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, or loss of business, arising out of or in connection with your use of the service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the service shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim, or $50, whichever is greater.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Upon deletion, your personal data and configuration will be removed from our systems subject to any retention obligations required by law.
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, for non-payment, or if we determine in our sole discretion that continued access poses a risk to the service or other users. In the event of termination for cause, no refund will be issued.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance. Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
If you are located in the European Union, you have the right to raise complaints with your local data protection authority regarding our handling of your personal data.
